HIGH CHICAGO, Alfons Adetuyi’s feature film debut stars two powerhouse actors, the compelling and charismatic Colin Salmon (James Bond, Bank Job, Resident Evil) next to the captivating Karen LeBlanc (Dolan’s Cadillac, Nurse.Fighter.Boy), supported by an outstanding ensemble of poker players, including:Fulvio Cecere (Watchmen), Rob deLeeuw (The Business) Dylan Scott Smith (300), John Robinson (Casino Jack) and Sebastian Pigott (Being Erica).

Inspired by a true story and set in 1975 in a small northern mining town, HIGH CHICAGO is a tale of winners and losers;  Sam (Salmon), a hard-drinking father of three, ex-Navy man, ex-miner, and soon to be ex-husband, takes to gambling to bankroll his crazy plan to open a drive-in theatre in Africa. Equally desperate to support his family and keep his dream alive, we watch as Sam’s life spirals out of control in a showdown with a deadly Detroit card shark.
